We’re excited to welcome Cara Draegert to the Premier Farm Credit team as she steps into a new role as the Events and Engagement Coordinator, focused on expanding member and stakeholder engagement, community outreach and involvement, marketing and communications, event hosting and coordination, and Stockholder and Director elections.
“Cara has several years of marketing experience, community engagement with longstanding relationships forged across northeastern Colorado. Her deep ties to the agricultural community and relationship-building make her an ideal fit for our association. She has great attitude, a strong work ethic, and a fun and engaging personality that will serve us and our members well.” said Phyllis Luft, VP of Administration for Premier Farm Credit.
A 5th generation New Raymer, Colorado, native, Cara received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Marketing from the University of Northern Colorado. Cara and her husband, Ryan, a Senior Agronomist for CHS, Inc., have lived in Brush for the last 27 years where she and her family also operate a small commercial cattle herd. They have two adult children – Quinton and Delaney.
In her new position, Cara will focus on engaging the community through events, developing new relationships to support our core values, working to further engage and involve staff, and interacting with our current member-owners through PFC hosted activities, committees, and meetings. You may also see Cara out actively in our communities working to build stronger connections and represent Premier Farm Credit throughout the territory.
Cara’s office space is located at our Admin Office at 202 Poplar Street in Sterling and can be found there when not out in the community. She can be reached at (970) 380-2272.
Please join us in welcoming Cara to the team! We’re thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the impact she will make in our communities and in the Premier Farm Credit family.
