Premier Farm Credit - Technology Professional

We are seeking a motivated professional to join our technology department in Sterling, CO. Responsibilities include: computer and server maintenance, onsite and remote troubleshooting, and the management and evaluation of network and system processes to ensure integrity and protection of information, all while leading the charge to leverage new technologies in a changing environment. Additional responsibilities include maintaining technology and security policies and procedures, ensuring network availability, and protecting the Association against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction of data. The successful candidate must be familiar with a variety of the Information Security field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline is preferred. The successful candidate will have the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences along with the ability to set and manage priorities judiciously. Must be energetic, positive, forward-thinking, collaborative, and possess strong problem solving skills. Grade, salary, and title will be commensurate with experience. Premier Farm Credit – Appraiser

We’re looking for an appraiser in northeast Colorado.  The successful applicant will possess a Certified General Appraiser License in the State of Colorado with rural appraisal experience preferred (or the ability to apply for reciprocal license if currently licensed in a different state) or be willing to train and work toward a Certified General License with the State of Colorado within the prescribed timeframe. This position will be located in one of Premier’s offices, to be determined based on the successful candidate’s appraisal experience. Responsibilities include the inspection, reconciliation, and valuation of chattels on small and large agricultural operations; appraising real estate collateral pledged on loans; conducting outside fee appraisals; and maintaining a sales database. Knowledge of agricultural lending, appraisal, and real estate principles and practices including crop and livestock production is preferred. Successful candidate should demonstrate proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines, with the ability to adapt within a changing environment. Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of employees and management is critical. Computer proficiency in Word and Excel, with the ability to quickly develop high competency in company appraisal systems is essential. Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business administration, finance, banking, economics, or other related field is required. Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
