Premier Farm Credit and CoBank recently partnered to make significant matching donations to the Morgan Community College Ag Education Foundation, which is raising funds to create an Agriculture Center for Innovation at Morgan Community College (MCC) in Fort Morgan. This will provide needed space for MCC’s agricultural programs, including Ag and Business Management, Precision Agriculture and Unmanned Aircraft Systems. It will also allow them to grow their Industrial Controls Technician Certificate program, under development with funding from the National Science Foundation.

Ground was broken at the 4,800 square foot facility on Tuesday, where they will house a classroom, lab, offices, computer facilities with up-to-date GPS technology and analysis capability, as well as a large multi-purpose learning shop for education about and repair of farm implements year-round. This facility will allow for vastly improved access to advanced learning about agriculture for students attending the college and in the area. We’re excited to see the project progress and look forward to much success as a result!
