Position: Loan Officer Trainee
Location: Yuma, CO
As we plan for the future, we want to add a motivated Loan Officer Trainee to our team.
Position Overview: As a Loan Officer Trainee at Premier Farm Credit, you will play a crucial role in assisting in the growth of our direct loan portfolio by developing and nurturing customer relationships. You will be responsible for staying informed of industry trends and local market competition; assisting in retaining and expanding existing business relationships; and identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with the team to assist in implementing and executing the sales marketing plan to achieve business plan goals.
- Identify potential customers, assess their financial needs, and propose tailored loan solutions.
- Work closely with the team to evaluate loan applications, conduct credit analysis, and ensure compliance with lending policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan application and approval process.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless loan processing, closing, and servicing.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, finance, banking, economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of agriculture and business financial principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Agricultural background and knowledge of local market dynamics and competition is a plus.

Position: IT Systems Administrator
Location: Sterling, CO
Position Overview: We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator to effectively support the Association’s information technology initiatives. This position works closely with the VP-Information Technology to assess information technology systems and assists in making decisions and implementation of future technology. This position serves as the assistant local area network administrator and assistant information security officer for the Association. This position communicates and coordinates to ensure all core business-related systems and applications used by the Association function properly. This position provides technical assistance and hardware and software maintenance, works in conjunction with the marketing department to provide an effective and secure environment regarding the Association’s social media presence. The IT Systems Administrator assists with implementing the disaster recovery plan and business continuity plan. The IT Systems Administrator ensures maximum uptime, stability, and security of Association computer systems and networks. This role promotes efficient, high-quality work and customer service in support of Association goals, works with vendors to manage systems that require third-party support, and assists in providing technology-related training for the Association.
Responsibilities:
Technology Support
- Troubleshoots and supports workstation hardware and software errors
- Serves as assistant LAN administrator; coordinates with provider on WAN related issues
- Responsible for security of software, hardware, electronic data processing systems, password controls, user data access, user account management, social media, and data storage and backups
- Provides technical assistance for the staff and Board
- Communicates and coordinates with Association management and others, as directed, regarding computer and data processing functions, troubleshooting, and program updates and conversions
Maintenance, Monitoring and Research
- Completes general and preventative hardware and software maintenance
- Responsible for maintenance of the intranet and internet sites
- Conducts research on computer technology related topics and makes recommendations
- Ensures system compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards
- Keeps updated on software and hardware by attending training, as needed
- Communicates and keeps supervisor informed on the status of projects and issues that emerge
- Assists in implementing the disaster recovery plan and business continuity plan
- Performs duties as needed in the absence of the VP - Information Technology
Other Functions
- Assists in the process of tracking software and hardware licenses and registrations
- Develops cost/benefits analysis of proposed technology as directed
- Assists with providing annual security training and business continuity training to staff
- Cross-trains within IT department to enhance functionality
- Present a positive image for the Association
- Appropriately protects the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the Association, employees, customers, and other stakeholders
- Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for educational qualifications
- Relevant certifications are a plus
- Minimum of two years, five years preferred, of experience in technology, security, and infrastructure
- Knowledge of operating systems, data storage, servers, networks, telephony, computer applications, productive training methods and techniques
- Knowledge of and ability to learn various internal and external software and systems
- Must be motivated, self-driven, and customer focused.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
- Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently
- Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends as business needs dictate

Position: Credit Support Specialist
Location: Sterling, CO
Position Overview: As a Credit Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include providing operational and credit support for the entire lending function. Duties include delivering friendly, timely, and quality customer service, supporting the Credit Team with proper loan file documentation, loan servicing, tracking, and inputting, verifying, analyzing, and processing financial information.
Responsibilities:
Operational Support
- Provide support and back-up coverage to the Customer Service Representative as necessary, including handling customer payments and transactions.
- Assist in answering telephone calls, greeting member customers and the general public.
- Assist in balancing accounts and preparing checks, receipts, wire requests, etc.
- Prepare daily reports, maintain routine records, and assist with cross-training of other personnel, as directed.
- Develop rapport with member customers and the general public.
- Provide administrative assistance on special projects and coordinate, maintain, and monitor assigned activities.
Lending Support
- Assist in gathering, verifying, and entering financial information in lending software.
- Verify credit and borrowers’ financial information, obtain credit and employment verifications, and compile other information needed to complete loan documentation.
- Assist Loan Officers with loan analysis and loan narratives in accordance with Association and District credit policies and procedures.
- Ensure appropriate loan file documentation exists through follow-up, tracking, scanning and indexing of electronic documents.
- Maintain files and assist with internal controls.
- Work closely with the Credit Manager in developing and enhancing credit analysis, lending functions, and marketing opportunities for the Association.
- Present a positive image for the Association.
- Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as assigned.
- Appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the Association, employees, customers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree with business-related courses and two years’ experience in banking or a diversified secretarial position is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- An agricultural background is a plus.
- Must be motivated, self-driven, and customer focused.
