Premier Farm Credit recently awarded four scholarships to students from Northeast Colorado – Amy Pollart, Brooke Stromberger, Taylor Hendrix and Tyson Lichty. Thank you to all the students that applied – the future for our area certainly looks bright!
A little more about the recipients:
Amy Pollart is a senior at Prairie and the daughter of Matt and Stacy Pollart. She plans to attend the University of Wyoming to pursue a degree in Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management, with a minor in agribusiness.
Brooke Stromberger is a senior at Caliche and the daughter of Brad and Jonna Stromberger. Brooke plans to attend Iowa State University and major in Ag Business, then pursue her Master’s Degree.
Taylor Hendrix graduated from Holyoke and has been serving on the State FFA Officer Team, and plans to attend Northeastern Junior College and pursue a career in agriculture.
Tyson Lichty is a senior at Liberty and the son of Jason and Tycie Lichty. Tyson plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and pursue Agribusiness and Agronomy. All four students plan to pursue careers that give back to agriculture and their communities.
Premier’s annual scholarship program is one part of a robust outreach and giving program, and demonstrates our commitment to supporting agriculture and rural communities, today and tomorrow. Applicants must be a child or grandchild of a current customer, or a customer themselves. Selection is based on academic aptitude, vocational promise, personal attributes, leadership and financial need. Children or grandchildren of Premier Farm Credit employees and board members are not eligible to apply.
